I like the blond girl for style (top left) - I think I like the squiggly outline for hair without the squiggles inside (I'm sure that's the professional term for it!) - kind of 'implied' curly hair. But I still would prefer dark hair I think...
Again, on the next page, I like the girl on the top left (running) - I notice it's the same kind of hair idea as above. The "t-shirt over jeans" girl is cute too. I'm not sure I can always verbalize what I 'like' about them - is it OK just to say that they're my favourites on a page? Maybe you can see the commonalities between them better than I can?
Next page down, I like the boy & the two girls in the middle - that are sideways on the page on the right. Having the boy as a friend that Charlotte has a playdate with might be a way of introducing a boy in the story - I want the main character to be a girl, but finding a way to appeal to the boys would be good...
Next page, of course I like the little girl in the bottom left corner pointing - same kind of character as above, so not surprising...
Next page... I like a few characters on this page too - and they're all quite differnt, so I don't know what that means... I like the top middle (looking down). I like her hair...and as I look at it, obviously you can show emotion with a character that doesn't have 'eyes' too... I also like the 2 girls in the middle - one at the left with her hands up and the one sitting reading. I actually like the girl brushing her teeth too! :)
Last page, I like the doctor guy. I can also see how you can get emotion from black eyes with the girl looking over the chair - interesting - she appeals to me too. As does the girl on the top right with her hands out.
OK, I'll start from the top and work down.
